🚶 5/ Should we #TRUxit?
I think the #transmed community should:
• 🤡 exit the #tucute freakshow
• ⚕️ rebuild transsexual advocacy on medical legitimacy
• 📉 let the “gender is vibes” crowd self-destruct
An exit is inevitable. But through what method?
🌂 1/ “The” Trans Umbrella
We’ve spent years pretending transmeds and tucutes can coexist. They can’t.
• 💥 #tucute: demedicalized identity anarchy
• ⚕️ #transmed: legitimacy through medical necessity
These goals are incompatible. Forced “solidarity” only weakens us.
We need our own networks.
I think the reason why #transsexual / #transgender / #truscum / #tucute discourse refuses to die is because these two camps are forced into the same community:
• “I don’t want my transness to define me.”
• “I define myself by my transness.”
