It'll be better to check it against the lighter floss and know for sure, and I have been worried about what the heck to do with the negative space of the eye, so maybe this is gonna be good after all the work but I'm feeling some dread. 🫠
The sway of the rays is really pretty, though!

Got in enough for a #tulipstitch update. The midtone floss has more contrast that is apparent here... but not much. I'm going to fill in some places with the lightest color and see how it looks. May repurpose this as the "empty" color for the eye and choose a brighter orange to redo.

These sparkle dots way outside the main eye-con were hell to count out but Megan Thee Stallion got me through it <3
One more go with brown floss to add the blade outline at the bottom of the eye, then COLORS :D :D :D
