It's also good to have something very good and durable to protect yourself, in case you ever get attacked by surprise or if you need to make space between yourself and the enemies, and this was a very good lesson Tyler learned once. In the past, while exploring the abandoned laboratory, there were a lot of different traps set, to deter somebody from going inside, from the old fashioned ones, to the more modern ones and even some magical ones, so Tyler most of the time either get pass them or simply avoid them, but when neither of them are available, he needs to take them head first, so it's good that he was able to previously aquire a very good DNA of a very powerful insect species, the Diabolical Ironclad Beetle, from one of the rooms he previously went through and found different bug specimens, used by the scientists that once worked here. When changing into one, Tyler becomes more insect-like, gaining a very durable exoskeleton, that is almost completely indestructible, but also other benefits as well. So when he sees a powerful trap in the front, he always changes into this species, to withstand the blast from the trap wnd while doing so he likes to pose, showcasing his strength.

(1/2) While exploring a lower part of the abandoned laboratory laboratory, he stumbled upon a cave-like system. On the entrance, an old plaque with an ant symbol was left, meaning it was most likely the ant research part of the laboratory and it seams that another test subject made the tunnel. So far, most of the other subjects he found where either dead or alive but only the animal instinct were left and nothing else remained from the original person that they were once. Before exploring more, Tyler decided to use a bug sample from the insect department, where most of the samples were. After reading the notes, he decides to absorb the DNA of the Gossamer Butterfly, because this species were able to hypnotise ants, so if ever this subject is still alive, he would have a mean to protect itself because he would be overwhelmed easily because of the ability of an ant that have superior strength. After opening the case of the butterfly, he started digesting it. After he completely absorbed it, his body becomes smaller, but still had some of his muscles left. Two big wings also grown on his back, that had a combination of blue and gray, but also some black dots. His hands and feet also becomed more insect-like, having an exoskeleton on the outside. His fur, also changed on the parts that remained, becoming blue in color and lastly his face also becomed more human-like, with two big antennas growing on his head.

Because he doesn't like to be seen training, Tyler only does it at night, in the forest near his house, because he can train by changing into multiple species without anyone getting scared or surprised by him changing shape but also so he could do it naked, because changing into different species, with different body types and sizes would result in multiple instances of clothes getting ripped, and it gets pretty expensive after a few mishaps.

One day, after researching more information about himself from the documents he got from the abandoned laboratory, he found out how he could unleash his ability, by thinking of the species he wants to change to, but because he thought of too many species at the same time, his ability got out of control, changing himself into multiple species, at the same time and almost busting out of the house, but after calming out, he figures how to do it better.
This is what happened when Tyler discovered his ability for the first time and tried to use it.
