It's a bit ironic: in over seventeen years of #UechiRyu Karate, my worst injuries are a black eye from dodging into a punch, and a welt on my hip from a slip and fall in a bathtub in Okinawa.
That's pretty much it...
Oh well, life goes on, and I intend to persist.
This time last week I was just getting home from surgery that repaired my quad tendon.
Given how little pain I've been feeling -- especially now that I've been running only on Tylenol for over 24 hours -- I'm very hope that I'm healing well and will be back to kicking shins.
