I used to be an #UncapTheHouse stan, & still think it should be done, but it’s virtually useless w/out substantial gerrymandering reform like multimember districts elected via RCV &/or eliminating districts altogether. But I still doubt it could defeat the 2 party system the Electoral College forces

In 1911 MN had 10 House Representatives with 200k constituents.
In 1931 MN had 9 with 284k
In 1962 MN dropped to 8 with 426k
In 2020 each rep had 713k
Projections say in 2030 will drop to 7 districts. Today there are 4 Dems and 4 Reps; who is going to go?
