A win nearly 90 years in the making, the #UNCBears took down the #CUBuffs yesterday thanks to Quinn Denker and his miraculous recovery from a broken hand that led to a career-best performance and a program-changing victory.

After the #CUBuffs and #UNCBears traded 8-0 runs, now they're trading buckets on each possession as we're tied at 80 with 1:23 to play. Couple of big shots by Barrington Hargress in the last minute. Quinn Denker keeps responding for UNC, though.
#CUBuffs can't get a stop in this second half. #UNCBears are 12-15 on FGs (80%) and lead 66-63 with 8:10 left, although coach Steve Smiley just called a timeout to lay into his players for allowing a wide-open transition 3-pointer on the previous possession.
#CUBuffs and #UNCBears knotted at 43 with 15:57 to play. Isaiah Johnson started the second half in place of Felix Kossaras in attempt to boost a struggling offense, while freshman big man Fawaz "Tacko" Ifaola getting some extended run today with Alon Michaeli out.
