I can’t recommend a documentary more than Colin Hank’s John Candy Doc “I Like Me” it’s fantastic.
Everyone from the Canadian SCTV, Chicago’s Second City and SNL touched all of our lives in the last 50 years.
John Hughes loved John Candy. He was in nine of his films.

My youngest daughter wrote an entire paper her sophomore year at Marquette on the life of John Candy and received an A. I was so proud. Her favorite films growing up were Uncle Buck and The Great Outdoors. I think I brought her up right.
She’s halfway to being a doctor.
