I'm so sick of #Doomism. The normalized rhetoric that instills the belief that things are hopeless is going to stop people from playing the game before it's even over. I know bc I spent YEARS in a "learned helplessness" mindset until I realized that I was an NPC to NO ONE'S benefit 😤

Recently was feeling a lot of shame and disgust (from myself) for something anxiety-provoking I did but didn't do ~perfectly~ and then my brain was like: "Are you expecting perfect results in imperfect conditions?" and I was like "oh, yeah....all the time??? my whole life??"
