Screenshot of the 2016 Ghostbusters movie categorized as a blockbuster movie in Netflix's interface I will admit that there's no solid definition for this, but generally speaking movies that are blockbusters make multiple times the revenue spent to create them. I'll give this one a pass but this most assuredly did meet that bar. I presume it's bc Netflix knows there's no definition, so it's a category they can freely put into it whatever they feel pushing at that moment.
Netflix banner at the top of the feed for some random children's cartoon movie No idea why this popped up. Best guess is that I've watched some adult cartoon shows/movies in the past and the AI algorithm has absolutely no concept of the difference between an adult and a child cartoon. If you've a better explanation, I'd love to hear it bc I'm at a loss.
Anyone else getting #Netflix recommendations lately that make no sense or defy reality?
Certainly feels like they added a whole new level of bad AI to their algorithm lately.
If there's anyone in the know, I'd appreciate some clarification. Bc without search, Netflix close to being #unusable.
