I believe this to be a Bewick's Wren, Tacoma WA
Some of the local visitors. We just got a suet feeder and we're lucky enough to spy a Flicker soon after putting it up!
I think birds are difficult subjects to photograph. They always seem to be looking in the wrong direction when I want to photograph them. ๐คฃ

Per Webster's: a statue is a three-dimensional representation usually of a person, animal, or mythical being that is produced by sculpturing, modeling, or casting
But there is so much more to them. They are saints, sinners, gods and everything in between.

Cherries in my lap, Port Townsend, WA
Red currants, UpGarden, Seattle
Joining Bluesky has made me go through my pictures and evaluate them.
Is this a good shot or just mediocre. Even if I like it, it's it relevant to others?
Good news, I have been able to delete a lot off my Google photos. Bad news, thousands to go ๐ญ

Bird on a branch in the UpGarden, Seattle WA
Seafarers Memorial in fog, Anacortes, WA
This picture is disturbing. The gaps in the lighted feathers makes it look like I have captured a demon with wings on film. Daniel, we need to talk.
Let's talk silhouettes.
Per Webster's dictionary - silhouette suggests with all detail blacked out in shadow leaving only the outline clearly defined.
The first picture was taken with my Minolta SRT 101 in 1986, the rest are digital.

Hello my Bluesky peeps. Today I want to talk about a unique outdoor spot in Seattle Center called the UpGarden. It is a P-Patch garden on top of a garage.
During the pandemic, it was a lifesaver. Space enough to social distance but to still be a community.
