Today I was sitting outside having lunch in downtown Copenhagen in a t-shirt. Spring seems to have arrived. This also brings up a beautiful word from my native language, Norwegian: “utepils” (which means a beer you drink outside). #Utepils

I know that my #Norwegian friends have the word #utepils , roughly translated as an outside pilsner. There are definitely too few utepils in this world.

#Utepils (pronounced “OOH-ta-pilz”) is a Norwegian word that literally translates to ‘outdoors lager’ (from ute ‘out, outside, outdoors’ and pils ‘lager’). Meaning “the first beer you drink outside on a warm and sunny day.”
