A powerhouse evening with moderator Canisia Lubrin joined in conversation about the role of the writer in times of crisis by Otoniya J. Okot Bitek, Saeed Teebi, and Madeleine Thien. This night, their words will be with me for a very long time. #VancouverWritersFest
