The image shows a non-functioning fountain in the forefront and the Vank cathedral in Esfahan (Iran) in the background.A lot of people are milling about in the courtyard. The bell tower can be seen in the background at the corner of the cathedral, too. The cathedral itself is of the bulbous type, i.e.,the cupola is architecturally similar to a mosque and to those found on orthodox churches.

I think the bit at the front is a fountain that was not working at that time.
