Hypno is my fave trope but like, hypnosis as a stand in for the addict behavior of gaps of knowledge and the yapping secrets you’re not supposed to in vulnerable/suggestible states. After this (however it ends) Angel knows it’s one more thing on his roster he can’t take back that he’s done to his friends, and the way he internalizes it is that it’s his fault & he can’t be trusted. But not just cause of some crazy hypno brainwashy stuff, it’s because he was *weak*. He slipped up too many times, he wasn’t clean and pristine like Charlie told him he had to be. It’s just gaps in time where he awoke in a blur, betrayed them & whether he remembers or not, who knows?it could’ve happened any other time that he let himself go just a little, & just like always, everyone around him pays for it. He needs to go back to where his sins are celebrated, where he can’t hurt anyone with his mere existence.
Just thoughts n stuff cause my brain is fried until next week. Angel relapse impending 😵💫
