I finally did it. I have started a #book page #edge #painting. I've seen these various places online and recently our local #bookstore got some with printed edge designs. Wow is it fun. This one is "The Sagas of Icelanders" so what else could I paint but #vikingships and #arcticterns and #stars.

The Best-Preserved Viking Ship in the World Just Survived Its Treacherous Final Journey For more than ten years, experts have been painstakingly planning to move three 1,000-year-old vessels—the “Oseberg,” “Gokstad” and “Tune”—about 115 yards to their new home in Oslo

"Now that the Oseberg has been relocated, museum officials can turn their attention to the other two ships. They plan to move the Gokstad this fall, and the Tune will follow next summer. The new building—Museum of the Viking Age—will open in 2027."
