Make links clear and easy to see - Underline links and have hover states. 3. Give link download details - Write the file’s name, type and size. 4. Don’t open links in new windows - Except in a form element e.g. to T&Cs. 5. Give direction with image links - Use directional alt text e.g. homepage. 6. Use shortened links on posts - Don’t use full URLs on social media.
