Agnes’s ceramic Belfast sink was the heart of her kitchen-deep, white, and chipped at the corners. Its enamel was worn smooth by years of scrubbing clothes and washing dishes. Sometimes she stood before it, watching the water swirl down the drain as if it could carry away the war itself.

It was a very cold Spring, colder than any Amy could remember. At last it was June and the warmer weather rolled in as the dampness departed. Down near Quincy Market her favourite cafe finally had sidewalk seating. The latte never tasted so good.

There was a glitch in the Wayback Machine as Mr. Peabody and his boy Sherman would soon discover. The machine had been set for the year 1972, but would deliver them instead to the year 1912 where they would enjoy an ocean going voyage on a real big practically unsinkable ship.

Hm, while field trips are nerve wracking because of all the unknowns out of our control, I think the students would really enjoy the view from this #pinnacle and learning about the history of our town through this unique building. I will have to see if our calendars match up.
