The One Sextillion Pengó note was the highest denomination banknote ever printed. A sextillion is one followed by 36 zeroes, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. It was briefly printed during the Hungarian hyperinflation after World War II, where its value was equivalent to 12 US cents.
