🚨 CO2 RECORD SHATTERED 🚨

Earth just hit 430 parts per million—the highest levels ever directly recorded.

When humans walked on the moon: 325 ppm
During 9/11: 369 ppm
COVID shutdown: 414 ppm
This week: 430 ppm

Sheep cluster together under the shade of a lone tree on a bright day, trying to regulate their body temperature, and avoid heat stress, as wool affects their comfort. Susan Schoenian, University of Maryland Extension Sheep and Goat Specialist says, “Wool protects sheep from extreme heat as well as extreme cold. A thick fleece is mostly immune to temperature changes due to its insulating properties. According to research, sheep with a one-inch fleece are more comfortable than sheep with less wool, as wool fibers dissipate heat more rapidly.” (https://duraferm.com/2020/08/keeping-the-flock-healthy-through-summers-heat/)
