A person skating under a bridge in Winnipeg on the frozen Assiniboine River. The bridge has "Press On" painted on its side by the Press On Winnipeg group of anonymous artists who began leaving these messages citywide in order to encourage our citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A whimsical warming hut sits on the frozen Assiniboine River near the Forks historic port. On the right hand side people are lacing up their skates to enjoy some skating on the river trail.

A large yellow bison shaped warming hut sits on the side of the Red River portion of the Nestaweya skating trail. People are enjoying walking and skating on the trail.

The Nestaweya river skating trail ⛸️ is now 6kms. It goes from the Hugo docks on the Assiniboine River to Churchill Drive on the Red River.
It's a unique perspective on our city which I look forward to every year.
