Our favourite beach is very eroded; we've been piling rocks around the roots of Sharon's favourite mangrove tree (you can see it's roots in the top right) so more sediment catches around it.

Recently Sharon and I have been coming here to clear the grass around the stump, dig up the gods, retrieve the bottles we'd arranged around the tree years ago.

There is a young ketapang sapling growing next to the stump. Who knows. Maybe she will grow again.
