Enjoyed a delicious #wcgo2019 conference lunch with plenary speakers Profs Butenko, Bomze, and Zhigljavsky and friends in #France. This was a superb global #optimization conference!

The #wcgo2019 has been an intellectual #Orms feast with even Aristotle quoted in brilliant plenary talk by @tamu Prof Sergiy Butenko. The whole is more than the sum of its parts. Fabulous scholars in our discipline with major impact in theory and applications.

An amazing #wcgo2019 conference banquet tonight filled with delicious food and fabulous conversations! Many thsnkbto the organizers. Not every day one gets to meet #optimizers from countries such as #Kazakhstan, #Morrocco, #Benin, #Algeria, and #Iran, among others.

Wonderful to catch up with Prof Christine Shoemaker, @informs and @Siam Fellow and member of @theNAEng, #wcgo2019 in France.

As pointed out to me by Prof Sergiy Butenko @tamu, who is the Editor of @jglobalopt, one of the nicest aspects of Metz, France, venue of #wcgo2019, is the #lavender growing everywhere!

A wonderful aspect of #wcgo2019 is meeting delegates from 40 other countries at social activities. In the photo I am joined by professors from India and Botswana.
