What do movements need now? Resourcing Feminist Resistance in a Time of Contraction. Join us for a session exploring movement-defined priorities and feminist principles for resourcing, recognizing that movements have long sustained their work amid scarcity, now intensified by rising authoritarianism and donor retreat. Centering alternative and autonomous strategies, we will examine what different actors can meaningfully contribute—and how—identifying practical approaches beyond transactional funding toward sustainable, movement-led ecosystems. On International Women's Day I celebrate my mum who passed away in October last year aged 90.
She was a strong independent spirit who helped and uplifted many other women. She had 8 sisters and I think she viewed all women in that way rather than competition.
