I wanted to port my feed reader #WebExtension to #Chrome, currently I been shipping it for #Firefox only.
Google's implementation of Manifest v3 and its requirements are bonkers. The whole switch to strange service workers instead of background scripts is very odd.

BlogCat is a feed reader as a #WebExtension for #Firefox. It can also post status updates and short posts to #Mastodon, #Bluesky, and #Micropub so you can keep up with blogs and websites while also posting and commenting about them. The Web should be a conversation after all.
Just a quick note: this extension is inspired by ColorZilla.
It doesn't yet implement all of ColorZilla’s features, but it covers the most essential ones for now.
