Most common @font-face mistake I'm seeing is faux bold. Take care to use a true bold #webfont or make sure your CSS isn't doing it for you.
BTW, @typesupply is subtly referring to WOFF, the #webfont format that is supported by most foundries and debuting in Firefox 3.6.
That sums my thoughts after nearly 30 hrs of #webfont discussion at TypeCon. Talk will drone on thru ATypI, but any beyond that may be moot.
To deliver their own #webfont format foundries must look deeply into what keeps EOT from browser adoption. It's the only short term hope.
I met the guys and really like Typekit as a solution to serve one segment of the market. How large that segment remains to be seen. #webfont
