Just prior to the destruction of the Well of Eternity, 10,000 years before the opening of the Dark Portal, Illidan Stormrage obtained at least seven vials of water from the Well. Three were used to make a second Well atop Mount Hyjal, one was stolen by Dath’Remar Sunstrider when the Highborne left Nordrassil to found Quel’Thalas and the Sunwell, and two were given to Illidan’s lieutenants, Kael’thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj, during his time ruling Outland. The last one is still missing to this day.
