Learned Spirit Island at Wellycon this year too. Glad we had someone who had played before as it was a complex first play. Not sure it is for me. A heavier cooperative game. Theme was interesting and the tension you feel as you play was engaging. #wellycon #boardgame #boardgamegeek

Horrendously late Day 2 Wellycon: We won Clash of Magic Schools. Should’ve been easier to learn than it was. Enjoyed replaying Aboretum. Finally learned Teen Titans Go Mayhem and it was amusing. Glad day 2 was good quiet fun. #wellycon #boardgames #boardgamegeek #brightmoments

Day 2 #wellycon end of day, no brain left. Learned Dreadful Meadows. The pieces looked like candy and I wanted to eat them. The harvesters were confusing initially. But I really enjoyed it. We both stuffed up, but came very similar in points. #boardgames #boardgamegeek #boardgamesofinstagram

#wellycon Day 1 - Taught Heat: Pedal to the Metal. We own this game. It replaced Formula D in our collection. Very happy. Mostly easy to teach although the order of actions and what counts towards corner speed limits can be confusing. Had to leave before finishing but our friends were enjoying it...

Ended our day at #wellycon with shorter games. Draftosaurus was super fast, had fun dino meeples you arranged in your park for points and was really quick to learn. Definitely one as an opener, filler or end of night no-brainer. Would be nice with kids and adults. #boardgame #boardgamegeek #boar...
