After all the rain yesterday, Fergus had a pleasant, sunny walk today, where he met and played with a few friends.

This large group of birds, I thought were starlings at first, but close up they don’t seem to be starlings, were chattering away really loudly.
They fly in murmurations like starlings, there’s hundreds of them.
They’re great watch.

We had Fergus’ brother Brodie and labradoodles Sally and Rosie staying for five days. They all had such a great time visiting the beach on our walks at West Barns on John Muir way. Fergus and Brodie get on so well when they get together. 😊

A blue jellyfish floating in shallow water, looking very beautiful with a bluish purple body, almost like a flower, white border and flowing tentacles. The sand below looks mosaic like through the moving sea.

This was a very large brown jellyfish, about 30cm across, with short, darker brown tentacles around.

Another very hot day, so another beach day for a paddle to cool down.
Too hot for playing, but jumping in and out of the waves is fine. 😎
Had to be careful though, lots of jellyfish about.
They are actually quite pretty.

Very hot today, so we spent more time at the beach keeping cool. Water was warm paddling and would be warm enough for a swim I think.
Fergus enjoys the water a lot, he was a very happy boy today.

The tide goes quite far out, but on Friday it was exceptionally far out and we usually skirt the water’s edge.

We had just finished our walk on Thursday when Dolly, Fergus’ girl friend arrived, so we walked for an extra hour so they could play.
They had great fun on the beach.

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday and Fergus met Dolly at the beach.
Dolly is a super fast 2 year old Lurcher cross that we’ve known for over a year, and when they meet, they have great fun during the two hour walk.
