From National Weather Service - Los Angeles. Updated Dec 19, 2025 at 1pm: Precipitation Chances & Timing for San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties. San Luis Obispo has the greatest chances for rain from Saturday night through to Friday night. Santa Barbara has a little chance on Sunday, then almost mirrors SLO from Monday night. Ventura and LA reflect each other (almost mirroring SLO and SB) with 30-50% on Tuesday, then from that night to Thursday 80-100%, 60-70% Thursday night, then 10-20% Friday.
