I left revenge on the mat today.
it never fit me anyway.
I used to run back to harm as soon as it smiled at me. Now I let distance do the healing.
karma does not need my help.
time is a better witness than anger.

sometimes the best thing someone can do for you is treat you so badly that you have no choice but to finally see them clearly.
it is a brutal kind of grace the kind that forces you out of delusion and into freedom. I left fantasy on the mat today.

From the mat, where I learn and unlearn:
I have realised balance is not about 50/50.
It is about knowing when to stop showing up for one sided things.

#whatileftontheyogamat belonging!
today I remembered how they used to corner me with their mats. I would move mine to another side.
they called it distance, it was survival for me. I left the need to belong where I wasn’t wanted.& found myself instead. not every room that smells like sage is safe

vigilance. I noticed how my body still checks for danger when it is quiet. how my shoulders lift, even when I am alone.
So I placed that vigilance beside the mat like an old tool I no longer need. it twitched. but it stayed there.
safety begins when i stop scanning.
