Hi! I’m a student and hobbyist from Canada, and I’m so looking forward to being a part of this zine. I love both Witch Hat Atelier and writing, so this is my ideal project! I’ll be working on the My Light WHA Zine alongside this one; I’ve never participated in a zine before these two concurrent projects, so I’m very excited.

Writing sample: the spell inscribed inside the pouch projected into the room until the entire space was engulfed in a huge sphere of light. Coco looked around, veritable awe in her expression. The glow that now filled the room, reflected the beautiful patterns of the spell Agott had drawn—triangles and lines and swirls were lit up against the floor and ceiling. And from that circle of light emanated soft waves of brightness pulsing toward the ceiling.
This meant the next part of the spell was starting. Just as Agott had drawn, small circles of light started rising up from the floor of their shared room. There were hundreds of these tiny circles slowly floating up, making their way towards the ceiling—
“They’re owlcats!” gasped Coco. Indeed, each small circle was a miniature owlcat, glowing, emanating fine particles of light. Each one danced back and forth as they rose, sparkling on.
