I'm on my third Dave Brandstetter book in a row. I guess gay noir is what my soul needs right now. #WhatImReading

“The Wedding People” by @alisonespach.bsky.social is simply a perfect book. Witty, thoughtful, tender, relatable and affirming - a book about relationships with ourselves and each other. Loved the characters. Read it!

Quiet morning reading about my "radical" home state of PA that, in its infancy, created a bicameral legislature, coupled with (gasp!) broad voting rights. #whatimreading #books #votingrights #TheFightToVote @mawaldman.bsky.social

Current read: Dead Men Don't Ski by Patricia Moyes

A nice little murder mystery set in the mountains of Italy. It was first published in 1984 so its interesting comparing skiing holidays then vs now (obviously without the whole murder part 😅)

“Today I was unable to visit Lotte because I had an engagement I could not cancel. What could I do? I sent my servant to her house, so that I would at least have someone about me who had been near her today.”

“Ask For Andrea” by Noelle W, Ihli is the first book I’ve read about ghosts. A fun, quick read - like eating sorbet before a heavy read. Bring it on an airplane or the beach - and, don’t strange men drug your drinks.
