Standing looking straight up under the L-shaped eaves of my house, checking how much snow is piled up on the roof, I noticed that it's actually drifted so high it's overhanging the front walkway. Blue sky and the crown of the maple tree for context. The snow was three feet deep up there, more on the north side.
