I've been experimenting with different types of handles and sizes. I prefer the one finger loop for the index finger and a four finger broad handle. What number of fingers do you prefer for the fit of a handle?

Here are a few of my one-off hand carved tiki style cups. I'm hoping to get a slip sink set up within 2025, and I can actually pour a series!

A deep red teapot with two cups of slightly different designs in a matching glaze. The teapot is smooth and round and looks as if it would feel good in the hand like a nice round polished river stone. The lid sits flush with a tiny cup shaped knob fitted with a vent hole directly in the middle to reduce suction for a smooth pour. The teapot is fitted with a simple black metal handle with a round arc. The spout of the pot looks as though it is whistling and makes me happy just to look at it.
So I have been a potter for quite some time, but I haven't shown much of it. Since this is a new platform and a new way to share, I'm going to try and be more active. Here's a little peek of my first tea set.

I’ve got several hand carved pottery pieces coming to the shop soon!! If you got to choose, how would you glaze the rose bowl? #pottery #pottersky #ceramics #wheelpottery #wheelthrown #handcarved
These nested plates got the hand carved treatment today at my favorite community pottery studio. Anyone wanna suggest glazing ideas? #pottery #pottersky #ceramics #wheelpottery #wheelthrown #handcarved
