I know #YooYoenseok said he did #WhenthePhoneRings because he wanted to play a character that was different to the "nice guys" he always plays. And I get that. He wanted an acting challenge. But sir, feel you were destined to warm people's heart with your kind characters. 🥹🥹

Like I said: I'm a very tiny minority when it comes to #WhenThePhoneRings. Too bad you didn't like it.

Dropped #WhenthePhoneRings for many reasons, but now I'm back to episode 1 of #HospitalPlaylist S1. I started this 2 years ago and never went back, but now that I'm in my #YooYeonseok era, I'm gonna stay. Also plays a pediatrician, so yay!

Yes - I liked parts of #WhenthePhoneRings (the atmosphere was gripping!), but I wasn’t as big a fan of it as others were

Probably my favourite of his previous lead roles is #DrRomantic - if you don’t mind medical dramas it’s a really good show 👍

I don’t know if you’ve seen #MrSunshine, but he played a vivid supporting character there (who is pretty unrecognisable when compared to his recent roles!)

Yes - he played a very grey, ambiguous character in #WhenthePhoneRings - I’m still not sure I completely got where he was coming from lol (I know many loved his portrayal)

I think my favourite role of his - aside from his iconic Gu Dong-mae in #MrSunshine - is still #DrRomantic

I really enjoyed him in #WhenthePhoneRings which was quite good, in that Korean way of being able to be both quite funny and quite scary at the same time.

At least they gave us a passionate and hot reunion scene in contrary to #kdrama #DynamiteKiss... an ending more like #WhenthePhoneRings would have consoled me with that drama perhaps. Instead they gave us this lukewarm repetition of what we've already seen...

I loved #WhenthePhoneRings and was fine with the finale!

I still argue that the ending of #WhenThePhoneRings is just fine.

Sometimes a ‘bad’ ending doesn’t bother me (like #WhenThePhoneRings - the last episode and a half didn’t bother me at all, but clearly this is a minority opinion) and sometimes the last 30 minutes can destroy the whole previous experience (looking at you #HowIMetYourMother).

I don’t know if I would classify #WhenThePhoneRings as a rom com. #LoveScout was the only “rom com,” loosely calling it that, which actually didn’t dive much into melodrama.

There were only 2 modern romcom #kdrama from 2025 i have in good memory: that's #WhenthePhoneRings and #LoveScout
