The characters are easy to cheer for, the story is actually really good and the performances solid.

Yoon Kye-sang showed me his fluidity and insane range when I watched him in both #TheWinningTry and #Chocolate, while Lee Chae-min made me sit up with his evolving range throughout #BonAppetitYourMajesty.
All three #kdramas held a special place for me in 2025 and these two devoured their roles. ❤️

Yoon Kye Sang in #kdrama #TheWinningTry as the fall-from-grace national rugby hero, caught in a doping scandal and gets hired as a ragtag high school rugby coach. He was dorky, silly, and full of heart, love and pride for his players.

I only seen two of his other works so far, #TheWinningTry and #Chocolate. I love him both in it, but The Winning Try was the #kdrama that introduced me to him and made me wanted to explore more of his work, so I'd suggest that.

I've said more than enough praise for Ha Ji-won considering she's my newest obsession, but watching Yoon Kye-sang here after #TheWinningTry is also a revelation. Dr. Lee Kang is a completely different beast and he devoured that role here too.

#TheWinningTry or #BonAppetitYourMajesty. I'll give an edge to The Winning Try as that #kdrama doesn't seem to be advertised as heavily and a hidden gem that I think most people will miss just from the subject alone.
