Our annual burn last night in our suburban but very natural wild lawn. Increasing the vegetative cover of the native little bluestem grass. Starting a burn at dusk is relatively safe due to high & continually increasing humidity. We use only rakes to spread flames. No drip torch. #wildLawn

A dandelion seed head in a tangle of green and brown grasses. Its seeds are coming loose, some just sitting there, waiting for a little breeze to blow them away.

Seeing a lot of dandelions and dandelion clocks lately, so here's my contribution.
