【ジャズ】 新宿PIT INNでエルヴィン・ジョーンズの演奏を目の前で観たことがある。すごいパワーでTAMAのドラムセットが前にずれ、タムを支えるホルダーが耐えきれずにタムが傾いでしまい、エルヴィンが首を振っていた姿が印象的だった。

終盤になって後方から聴いたことがないほどスイートなトランペットの音が聴こえてきて、振り返ったらウィントン・マルサリスがトランペットを吹きながら近づいてきた。あれは夢のような至福の時間だった。
