In 1985 I got a job at NYC coffee shop Miss Brooks. I had a wonderful manager named Tina. There was a stereo that the owner insisted stay on the classical station. After closing, Tina changed it to WLIR. soon I was listening to Dead or Alive, Simple Minds, The Smiths, The Cure. #NewWave #WLIR
