'Carried Away' is a fluid acrylic pour painting in blues, greens and hints of pink. It depicts an abstract bird of prey in flight. The bird seems to have something clutched in its claws. The bird's wings are outstretched and seem to be in motion. The composition is set off by a stark white background that forms the negative space. A light shadow at the edge of the composition lends depth and complexity. I used a white 'cell activator' to achieve the thin white lacing overlay over the design colours. Carried away is the third and final installment of the Sea and Sky series in this palette.

It depicts 3 abstract shapes flowing together in a loose semi-circle as if they're playfully leaping out of the water. The painting is minimalist. There is much more negative space than composition space on the canvas. The colours evoke both water, or waves, and possibly the sky when there's a gentle sun. 'Evolution (2) is a fluid art acrylic pour painting in greens, orange/copper and black accents as the swipe colour. Created by a palette knife swipe, there's lots of negative white space around the composition, giving it both definition and lightness. I was playing with a diptych that supposes an imaginary connection between mythological dragons and present day birds, although both are rendered in very abstract and gestural forms. This one is the dragon one. The first one, 'Evolution 1' (sorry, forgot to describe that one: please forgive) was the bird one. The unifying factor is the rather simple palette and the flowing movement that suggests aerial or avian flight: a sort of soaring/flying vibe.
