A comic featuring Kinkajou and Moonwatcher in a hallway in Jade Mountain. Kinkajou is entering the scene from the back, joining Moon, Qibli, and Turtle. She is amazed that Moon "caught the bomber" and also "ousted Scarlet's spy". Moon notes that Kinkajou is willing to speak to her again, after they had previously fought. Kinkajou explains that, while she was mad about Moon keeping her mindreading powers secret, she concluded that the powers are a part of Moon's identity, and she herself tends to say everything that comes to mind anyway, and accepts Moon wholeheartedly. Moon interjects that it doesn't have to be like that. She hands the Rainwing a piece of Skyfire, which can block mindreaders if held. Kinkajou examines the rock, then lets it drop from her hand. She was serious when she said she is fine with Moon's powers, and that she needs to accept all of Moon to truly be friends with her. She then hugs Moon, saying "I don't need a magic rock to keep me safe from my best friend"

A comic depicting a confrontation between Moonwatcher, Turtle, and Darkstalker. Moonwatcher beseeches Darkstalker to abandon his nefarious plans and come back to his senses, which Darkstalker refuses. He asks how the two of them plan to stop him, mocking their plan of using a cursed Strawberry against him, which he foresaw with his powers. Turtle replies that they were considering the strawberry idea for a while, but ultimately concluded that it was too silly, and that they wanted to go in a "different direction". Suddenly, two enormous claws grasp Darkstalker by the wings and effortlessly pick him up. The last panel is a wide shot of Kinkajou, enlarged to a gargantuan size, dwarfing mountains around her and her head reaching up into the clouds. She holds Darkstalker--who is the size of her palm--up to her face and laughs, mocking him by saying "Who is your daddy now, Storkdingler?"

She begins recounting a sequence of numbers going "14, 11, 7, 12, 1, 20" and states that these are the next numbers Qibli is going to roll. Qibli is happy about this and declares that his character is going to do 5 backflips and then attempt to seduce the Queen. Umber, who is the Dungeon Master for this session, confirms the action and, with a somewhat bemused expression on his face, tells Moonwatcher to see him after the session for a talk. Meanwhile Turtle is wondering why he "dumped Constitution."

Carnelian turns around and asks him what he wants, to which he informs her that he has a present for her. The next panel shows a close-up of the lumpy clay dragon. Carnelian wants to know what it is, and Bigtail replies that it is supposed to be her. Incredulously, Carnelian wants to know why it looks so stupid, so Bigtail tells her that the wings accidentally came off during the firing. Carnelian seems unimpressed with his explanation, but gives up arguing about it. The scene returns to both of them standing in front of each other, conversing. Bigtail further explains that the head of the figurine can be taken off to reveal a hidden compartment for drinks. Carnelian, aghast, wonders if he is being serious, but Bigtail is preoccupied with musing that Starflight will never catch them now.

She holds up the scroll she is reading to block the other two occupants of the room from seeing her face, then takes a drink from the flask.

A rudimentary comic featuring Carnelian the Skywing, Kinkajou the Rainwing, and Moonwatcher the Nightwing. Kinkajou notices Carnelian drinking from the flask in secret and gets right in her face about it, eagerly demanding to know what she just drank. Carnelian denies having drunk anything, but Moonwatcher, through her superior Nightwing sense of smell, catches the scent in the air and identifies it as a "really fruity and sweet" cherry banana juice. Kinkajou is elated by this news, exclaiming that Carnelian has a sweet tooth. Carnelian denies it and asserts that she is a badass who doesn't like sweet drinks and is actually drinking hard liquor. Kinkajou doesn't buy it and calls her a sweetie, which elicits an impotent threat of violence.
