The Warrior of Light stared into the shadows under the arch, a stain under a shining firmament. The hardness in his face had all been sapped away, and it seemed that Ifan was less thinking and in more of a quiet daze. "…Is there no innocence?" his voice was thin, and he seemed hesitant as to the answer. Fray sneered behind his helm and gave a snort. Then he turned his head and spat, which came out as a bare huff of dark flame - soon wisped away upon the near-dead breeze. "Disgusting concept. Grotesque. Devoid of color and dimension." His gaze affixed on Ifan with a faint gleam of contempt for even uttering the word. Ifan's shoulders fell, as did his brows. His voice took on an almost pleading quality. "Devoid of pain, and want," he said. "Then glut yourself on ignorance until you burst," Fray mocked. His head snaked forward, and he gave the man in white a mocking waggle of his chin. "Or will you starve yourself, instead, by slaking your bloodthirst?" "Innocence is a luxury, is it?" Ifan asked, his eyes narrowing. The man in black gave him a sagely nod in answer. "As is depravity," he said. "As innocence can often be depraved, itself." Ifan paused again. "…It's selfish of me to be guilty," he said. Fray issued a triumphant hum, and the smugness on his face was evident under his helm.
