Google doesn't show a lot of the houses and buildings that currently exist today. So this image makes it look like we were walking in undeveloped areas, when in fact they all contained houses that people are actually living in today
Over the winter, we’ll be alternating our walks between hilly, established communities and newer, flatter ones. Yesterday’s walk took us through hilly #MacEwanGlen, so today we ventured over to #WolfWillow in SE #Calgary

I’m processing some wolf willow seeds that I foraged in the fall, hopefully to make some beads. In the meantime I’ve made a tea from the powdery insides of the berry, and it’s so yummy! Full of antioxidants and polyphenols, no scurvy for me!
