A young miqo'te girl is sitting in a small pond of water. She has pink hair, a green left eye, and a reddish right eye. She wears a plain kimono and clutches at her head. Broken weapons jut out of the water, and two bodies can be seen behind her. The water glows an eerie red, as if full of blood. Faint dialogue boxes can be seen as someone calls out for her

The scene shifts, and now instead of a young girl, Bris sits waist deep in the pond just outside her house. She's wearing only a pair of shorts and her sarashi wrap, her hair is down, and she's missing her eyepatch - though her left eye is closed. Her right eye is open wide in fear and confusion as she clutches at her missing right arm. Yugiri leans over the rocks, wearing a purple nightgown, with one hand to her heart and the other on the small bridge over the pond.

Yugiri has now climbed into the pond herself, sitting behind Bris. She has wrapped both her arms around Bris and leans her head to Bris's. Bris's shocked, fearful expression has faded slightly into saddened face, but she still holds her right shoulder. The soft orange glow of lanterns from somewhere in the hard washes over them as they sit in the water.
