San unconsciously mirrors the action, the taste of sweet peppermint exploding on the tip of his tongue. <i>The candy cane</i>, his barely functioning brain supplies, ever helpful in high-stress situations. And San is <i>stressed</i>. He just kissed an employee full on the mouth, on the clock. And, most damning of all, he <i>liked it</i>. There's a warm fluttering in his stomach, molten heat starting to stir even further down, and he can feel his whole face burn. And unfortunately the embarrassment can't quite overtake the giddiness of feeling Wooyoung's lips against his own.

It's not hard to find Yeosang, he's always following his self appointed schedule. He should be walking down the east wing right about now so that's where San goes. He tails Yeosang down the hallway for about a minute making sure no one else is there to see, focuses on the back of Yeosang’s head. Then he goes in. San opens his eyes and he finds himself in the main house of the compound, but all the rooms are filled with books. Stacked high all the way to the ceiling, with their pages full of schedules and dates, endless numbers, endless orders. In the back of one of the rooms San finds a printing press going at full speed, with an assembly line of a dozen Yeosangs threading the freshly printed pages into leather bindings. When they finish the books float themselves into one of the piles and the Yeosangs rush to start on another. The work never ending.
San wanderers. Finds more books behind more doors. Eventually he turns the corner to an impossibly long hallway, lined with identical doors all the way down. And behind each door, every one of them, is a Sire. Most are angry and screaming, throwing things at the walls. Or wailing and crying into the floor boards. A few are content? Sitting in their big leather armchair reading by the fire place. One stalks towards San as soon as he opens the door, they have a blank face concealing some emotion that San can't place but it shocks him so hard he slams the door shut. Terrified. The hallway is silent except for San’s unsteady breathing. He has to get out of here.
San looks for answers where he shouldn't.
