Panel 1: Blanche still seems to be put off by Claude's casual mention of the Blue Monday incident. Panel 2: Claude can sense that something's up. "You alright?" Panel 3: Blanche rolls over on the couch, trying to dispel any worry. "Me? Uh, yeah! You talk about it like... like you were THERE or something, haha!" Panel 4: Claude does nothing to help the situation. "I do, don't I? Well-" Panel 5: "Wah! Nevermind, it's the guys who we're working for tomorrow!" Claude is interrupted by a chat message appearing on his laptop screen from thetruthisoutthere33. Panel 6: The message received says 'hi. its ke-ro. here are the specifics for the mission' followed by a file. Claude drops the conversation with Blanche to start typing.
Panel 1: Blanche starts thinking about what Claude's relation might be to Blue Monday, and in doing so starts to reveal certain things about her own past. "Wayne... Could you and Claude really have crossed paths on the battlefield...?" She imagines an armored figure, presumably Wayne, leaving his apartment as she, a young girl, begs for him to stay. Panel 2: Another flashback to a younger Blanche sobbing alone in the same apartment, a letter of some kind on the kitchen table. "Could Claude have been the one that..." Panel 3: A flashback to Volume 01 of Claude reassuring Blanche that she did what she had to do, and was able to live because of it. "There's a difference between making the final decision to kill someone because you were ordered to, and doing it because your life is at risk." She continues thinking. "No... I can't put the blame on Claude for something like that." Panel 4: Claude is still messaging Kero. Blanche continues. "Especially after all he's done in such a short time. I'll ask..." Panel 5: "...but I gotta wait for the right time first. I don't wanna make him upset right before our first job together."
Panel 1: Later that night, Claude is sleeping on the couch in the living quarters. Panel 2: Suddenly, he is jarred awake by something. Panel 3: In a cold sweat, he sits up, breathing heavily. Panel 4: "Dammit..." He looks down at his hand, blood starting to drip from his nose and mouth. Panel 5: "Again...?" His hand has a lil ol' puddle of blood on it how sad :c
