Command + Space: Terminal in the beginning we were naked not of bodies but of shape, a yearning without outline. the sea coughed up birds, their black wings clattering, their red mouths open. guillemots leaping from cliffs before the cliffs had names. we stumbled after them, still formless, burning, hungry. and the sky, not yet sky, split itself open to hold us. we never fell.
