Today's planting included 2 kinds of daikon, Chinese Shawo Fruit Radish, red beets, white beets, 3 kinds of cukes, rutabaga, kohlrabi, Golden Ball turnip, French Breakfast radish, nasturtium, Hamburg parsley, dill, cilantro, mung beans, Calypso beans, yellow wax beans, green beans, lima beans, zucchini, summer squash, Boston Marrow squash, Blach Futsu squash, and Red Kuri squash.

A semi messy garden bed with three bright red wall-o-waters near the centre, shallot fringes around the edges, and a big clump of clary sage in the back. There’s also some Virginia creeper sneaking in on the left and a clove currant sticking in from the right.
Tomatoes are in!! I beat back the clary sage a little more (at least it’s compost fuel) & did a tiny bit of cleanup (I don’t aim for a tidy garden but things were getting in the way). Here’s hoping the soil temps are suitable for the rest of the veggies soon! 🌱

Progress Update 2: we got the wood chip layer in. Each 3x3 foot section took 4 to 6 five gallon buckets, and there were 21 sections, so that was fun. Also, my wood chip pile down by the garden is almost gone.
