Pragmata looks sick, is critically well-loved, and has a unique spin on action gameplay, which means it is destined to be forgotten about very quickly and relegated as a "hidden gem" in 10 years from now

got a very cool creator kit for #PRAGMATA today, feels like something straight outta the game world! [ad/gifted]
I’ve been playing and savouring the game too so you can expect my thoughts on it in the next few days :)
Good week comin up! Make sure to check out a #sponsored PRAGMATA stream on Friday, more Kingdom Hearts, and yknow I've never actually beaten Rondo of Blood? See you at twitch.tv/patstaresat and youtube.com/patstaresat/live !
Yeah it’s hard to lie, stuff like this has made it really hard to be excited for Pragmata
Anyway, here's my actual review of Pragmata over on @mmorpg.com. Game is good, Hugh and Diana are awesome, the moon is a great setting, and the Switch 2 version ran wonderfully.

Anyway I should be writing but I think it’s not cool to dismiss the vibe some people are getting from Pragmata without asking why that little girl can’t put on shoes
the only thing i have to say about Pragmata is I wish the protagonist was a mom instead of a dad so i could call it Pragma’amta
Patrick is Pragmata-pilled, the Manbreaker (once again approaches), we've tried to Wake Up a Dead Man, another Marathon run, and much more at Remap this week: remapradio.com/other/this-w...
i stand by my assessment that Pragmata is more of an uncle game than a dad game
We'll be talking more about Pragmata on The MinnMax Show this week, which will be a live episode on Thursday. So no early access this week for Patreon supporters due to Ben and Jacob traveling.
Thanks!
Okay I haven’t played Pragmata. I don’t want to, I find dad games like these very boring and shallow. I don’t think it’s likely that it’s intentionally pedophilic but also, there is an audience that has already been reading it that way. Like that little girl has been fetishized by fandom already.
Reas that Pragmata on a fresh save is 8 hours and getting 100% on it could be 20 hours and I just started wriggling my fingers like I found a pie on the window
HOT SCHEDULES FOR YOU! Stacked week this week! Go read Mike's Pragmata reviewwww:

Really happy to see the great Pragmata reviews, Capcom have been on such a legendary run for years now - probably one of, if not the best?
Can't wait to play it, but I kind of wish they hadn't pushed the date forward because I need more time to get through my current slate of stuff 😅
Someone posted in Discord that Pragmata is 8 hours and all of us started celebrating and popping off LOL
This is why finding your tribe is important 😂
Pragmata was my game of the show back at SGF last year, and i'm happy to report the shoot-and-hack formula absolutely rules so much that i happily 100%-ed it before review! story is *fine* if not charming. another big W for Capcom!

Three banger games in a row from Capcom. I knew it was gonna happen too! 🥹
So excited to play Pragmata, but I still have to play the demo. I'll get to that just before the full release 😌
It gives me great hope that the new Onimusha game will also be a banger when that releases this year 🙏
Pragmata is great fun. wonderfully designed. that's my review. don't look up anything about it, the reveals are wonderful.
more on the podcast from me and @frankhowley.bsky.social later this week.
also I love this little scamp
I love Pragmata! This one goes up there on my list of favorite games of 2026. The whole experience was just amazing! I managed to 100% complete the main campaign and side missions. Already over 20 hours!
Capcom has been cooking big time this year! The team is not playing around! Keep it up!
Pragmata is one of those rare games that makes me want to go outside and touch some grass. It has a beautiful message on what it means to be alive and why life is such a precious gift. Read all about it over @techraptor.net

Capcom has had a very impressive start to 2026.
Resident Evil Requiem
Monster Hunter Stories 3
Pragmata
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection
They are certainly making a run at Publisher of the Year. I have no doubt Onimusha will be great too.
also shoutout to all the reviewers who didn't call pragmata a throwback to the 360 era
With the first 129 critic reviews lodged, PRAGMATA has Metascores of [PS5 - 85; PC - 88; NS2 - 90; XSX - 85] www.metacritic.com/game/pragmata/
