When throngs of journalists and politicos descend on the Washington Hilton’s 30,000-square-foot ballroom this Saturday to celebrate the First Amendment at the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, they will be rubbing elbows with some of the very officials working to erode it. CBS News, for instance, has invited Pete Hegseth and Stephen Miller as guests at the table, while the dinner itself is hosting Donald Trump as an “honoree.”
Well this tracks.
